Whiplash Symptoms
In most cases of whiplash, a doctor or medical practioner will apply a collar of a suitable type to assist the injury. However, while many whiplash injuries appear obvious, it is important to recognise the symptoms so that precautionary action can be used to ease the pain. In all instances, if you suspect you are displaying symptoms of whiplash, you should visit your doctor for treatment.It is important to note that while some whiplash injuries are immediately apparent, whiplash can also manifest itself hours, or even days, after an accident. The following symptoms are typically experienced by whiplash sufferers:
- stiff neck or shooting pains through the neck and shoulders
- pain in the lower back
- tiredness
- spells of dizziness and headaches
- a ringing sensation in the ears
- blurred or hazy vision
